CIRCLE CIRCLE CIRCLE is an exploration on grief and friendship breakups. It’s arguably equally painful as the end of a romantic relationship or partnership.

Libby and Katherine are a duo of award winning writer/director/actors. They’ve each appeared in numerous tv shows, features and performed in plays in dingy basement theaters all over the world.
Their story begins at Ohio University where Katherine, a bubbly freshman sorority girl, skipped into her first day of acting class with a hungover senior Libby. Libby was charged with teaching a fresh group of 19 year-olds to feel and already over it. Acting conservatories are weird, but through the sea of over-sensitive young thespians, a friendship was born. As with most great love stories, Libby moved to NYC to follow her angst and Katherine moved to LA to follow her bliss. When Libby landed out west, the two OU alums reunited in an acting class as scene partners and it all felt so good…except for the dearth of meaty female scenes.
They ended up gender swapping the climactic scene from George Clooney and Ryan Gosling’s THE IDES OF MARCH. Thus began their creative journey together in pursuit of truthful, messy, raw portrayals of women.
The two co-created the digital series GROW THE F*CK UP, where they made their directorial debuts. GTFU grabbed the attention of female-run productions companies all over town and solidified their forever partnership. They lean toward stories of fierce friendship, rebellious spirits, complicated family dynamics, late bloomers, and metamorphosis. As two former Catholic Midwestern women they have a treasure trove of turmoil, thus comedy gold.
