Alexander was born in 1996 in Moscow. After receiving his acting education, he graduated from the Tabakov School and worked at the Tabakov Theatre and the Theatre of Nations. For a long time, he was an assistant to Alexey German Jr. on the film Air, and later directed his first short film Shurik, starring Roza Khayrullina.

The film premiered at the Koroche Festival in Kaliningrad and went on to screen at more than 20 international festivals, including BIFFF, Mecal, Busho, and Court Métrange.
