Javier Chacón is a Venezuelan film director and screenwriter born on April 4, 1992. In 2011, he moved to Los Angeles after completing high school, aiming to gain education and practical experience in film. During his time in California, Javier immersed himself in the film industry by volunteering in various roles on film sets while studying Film and Television at California State University, Northridge, from which he successfully graduated in 2017.
After earning his degree, Javier began working for Arenas Entertainment on advertising campaigns, serving as a designer and advertising editor for films such as “Incredibles 2”, “Sicario 2”, “Bad Samaritan”, “Ferdinand”, “Blade Runner 2049”, “Cars 3”, among others…
In mid-2018, Javier returned to Venezuela and directed over 20 music videos for international record labels like Universal Music Latino and Sony Music Latin. Several of these productions reached YouTube’s global top 20 upon release. Additionally, Javier directed three short films: “El Lamento” (2021), the documentary “Montaña de Sueños” (2020), and the science fiction short “Jasmine Tea” which is set to release in 2024.
