Barbara Dupont has worked as an assistant director for 20 years. Since screenplays are the core of her profession, she has spent years analyzing narrative structures, rhythm, and character development through the work of others. She further enriched her knowledge with training such as Christopher Vogler’s The Writer’s Journey.

In 2018, she signed her first official writing collaboration for Édouard Bergeon’s feature film In the Name of the Land. Today, she aspires to continue her career as both a screenwriter and director. She has just completed her first short film, Madeleine’s Water Bombs, which she also wrote.
